Choose How You See Your Pins (Icons, Numbers, or Faces)
Until now, PinMy displayed every pin using the creator's profile picture. While this is great for knowing who raised an issue, it isn't always helpful when you need to know what the issue is or which number it corresponds to on a list.
New Feature: The View Toggle We have added a new switch in the top-right corner of your canvas. You can now instantly change how all pins appear on your plan to suit your current task:
- Category Icons: Switch to this view to see what works are required. Instantly spot the difference between a window issue, a plumbing fix, or an electrical check without clicking the pin.
- Number Sequence: Need to reference a printed report or a punch list? Switch to "Numbers" view to see pins labeled 1, 2, 3, etc., making it easy to cross-reference tasks.
- Profile Pictures: Switch back to the classic view when you need to see who is responsible for each area.
How to use it:
- Assigning an Icon: Drop a voice or text pin as usual. To add a category, click the three-dot menu on the pin card and select the "Assign Category" option to choose your icon.
- Changing the View: Look for the new View Toggle button in the top right corner of your screen. Click it to cycle through the options (Icons, Numbers, or Faces) and find the view that works best for your task.
