The construction site app for site supervisors

The site app for site supervisors and building engineers

As a site supervisor or building engineer, your day doesn’t end on site. It ends at night, in front of the computer, trying to reconstruct what you saw.

You took forty photos. Jotted half a dozen things in the notebook. Sent some images via WhatsApp to the site foreman. And now, at the office, you’re trying to remember which wall that photo was of, which note goes with which image, and what you promised the developer you’d check.

By nine p.m., half the context is gone.

PinMy was built for exactly that problem: capture site reality in the moment, pinned to the plan, so you don’t have to reconstruct it later. Site collaboration, anchored on the plan.

How it works, on site

No new program to learn. The flow is the one you already follow, but ordered:

  1. Open the PDF plan, or a site photo, on your phone.
  2. Tap the exact point where the issue is.
  3. Leave a voice note, a photo, a video, or a text.

The pin stays there, on the plan, with all its context. When you reopen it — you or a colleague — the issue is exactly where you left it. No digging through folders. No classic “which file was that?”.

And because you can talk instead of type, documenting an issue takes seconds. You speak, drop the pin, and keep walking. The voice note transcribes itself, so later you can search and copy it as text.

What you can do today

Not a roadmap promise — this is what’s on your phone right now:

  • Voice, photo, video, and text pins on PDF plans and site photos.
  • Voice transcription in 20+ languages: your spoken note becomes searchable, copyable text.
  • OCR (Premium): reads text from a label, serial nameplate, or printed plan number — straight from the photo.
  • Video annotation (Premium): drop comments on specific moments of a walk-through video.
  • Kanban flow: assign an issue, move it from “to do” to “done”, mark it resolved — with mentions and notifications so nobody loses the thread.
  • Guest mode: a subcontractor can view an issue and reply without creating an account.
  • iOS, Android, and web. On the phone you already carry.

Why it fits a site supervisor’s work

Your job lives on traceability. Construction supervision, snagging walks, project handover, after-sales of a development: in every case, what matters is being able to prove what happened, where, and when.

With loose photos in the camera roll and notes spread across three places, that traceability is fragile. With every issue pinned to its point on the plan — with its voice, its photo, and its date — you have a record that holds up.

That changes two moments of the day:

  • On the visit, you document faster and nothing escapes you.
  • At the office, when you sit down to write the site visit report or document the snagging walks, you’re no longer reconstructing from memory. The record is already ordered and to hand.

Let’s be clear on one thing: we don’t write the report for you. You know your technical judgement better than any software. What we do is get you to that moment with all the material already captured and in order, instead of starting from zero at nine p.m.

Where else it shows

  • New build. Construction supervision, visit by visit, with a visual history of every phase.
  • Refurbishment. Document the pre-existing state before touching anything, and the after. No arguments about how it was.
  • Snagging and handover. Every defect, pinned to its spot, assigned and tracked until closed.
  • After-sales. A traceable record of every callout and every fix, which avoids disputes about who reported what.

For subcontractors and the rest of the team

A site is many hands: the site foreman, the developer, the subcontractors, the client.

With guest mode, someone can come in to view an issue and reply without going through registration or installing anything complicated. You tag whoever needs to act, they get the notification, and the conversation stays where it should be: on the plan, next to the problem. Not scattered across fourteen WhatsApp groups.

Your data, in the EU

You work with sensitive information: plans, development data, sometimes projects under confidentiality.

PinMy is hosted in the European Union and is GDPR-compliant. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We don’t sell your information or use it for advertising.

Built by people who walk sites

We’re a small European team. We built PinMy because we ourselves were losing context between the site and the office, and we couldn’t find a tool that was mobile, simple, and fast enough to prevent it.

That’s why every feature responds to a real field moment, not a slide in a deck.

Start free, no card

You can start today on the free plan, no card and no commitment. If your work is technical inspection on new build or refurbishment, it’s the fastest way to stop losing context between the site and the office.
